Time is a precious thing. Never waste it.

With sadness I learnt today of the passing of Gene Wilder. I grew up watch his wonderful crazy movies such as Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Blazing Saddles, The Producers, Young Frankenstein, Stir Crazy, See No Evil, Hear No Evil, The Frisco Kid, and many many more.

A comedic icon of a generation has passed but his movies will last and be handed down from generation to generation. HIs role as Willy Wonka will always remain one of his greatest and whilst  i thought Johnny Depp was quite good in the remake the standard was too high for anyone to ever come close the Gene. And his lines were so cutting close to pure philosophical quandaries and inspirational at the same time. 

Like he said "Time is a precious thing. Never waste it." If we can all take that on board then we can begin to see what is important to us.
